TITLE:
Senior Cardiac Catheterisation Technician.
REPORTING TO: Chief
Cardiac Catheterisation Technician
ROLE SUMMARY
The Hermitage Medical Clinic’s, Cardiology department
has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic
competent person, to be directly involved in the
development and progression of its Cardiology Services,
including a state of the art Cardiac Catheterisation
Laboratory.
This new exciting position will have opportunities for
career development.
QUALIFICATIONS AND
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Candidates must possess
-
Bachelor of Science in Clinical Measurement or
equivalent
-
The Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological
Measurement
-
Be an Associate Member of the Society of
Cardiological Technicians
-
Have at least two years post qualification
experience in a Cardiac department, with experience
in cardiac pacing and Cardiac Catheterisation
Laboratory or echocardiography.

Good communication and listening skills.

Awareness and sensitivity towards patients needs
-
Awareness of patient confidentiality
-
Flexibility in the working environment
